We recently dined at Blanco's Kartoffelhof, and let me tell you, the food was absolutely incredible! This place is a hidden gem for anyone who loves perfectly prepared dishes. However, there’s a crucial detail you need to know before you go.

It’s clear that they put a lot of care and expertise into their cooking. Whether you're a fan of traditional German cuisine or just love good food, this place will exceed your expectations. If I were rating on food alone, it would be a solid 5 stars without hesitation.

The Ambiance: The ambiance is simple and functional—think of it as a sportscantine vibe. ⚽🏟️ It’s not fancy, but it’s comfortable and has a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere. While it may not win any design awards, it’s perfectly fine for enjoying a great meal with friends or family.

Prices: The prices are very fair, especially considering the high quality of the food. 💶 You get incredible value for your money here, making it an even better choice for a satisfying meal. For the quality and portions they offer, we felt that it was more than reasonable.

Important Warning: However, there’s one major issue to be aware of: they only accept cash. 💸 Unfortunately, this wasn’t mentioned to us until we were ready to pay. As a result, we had to drive quite a distance to find a bank, leaving half of our family waiting at the restaurant. This was a real inconvenience and put a damper on what had been a perfect evening. It’s a shame because without this mishap, I wouldn’t have hesitated to give Blanco's Kartoffelhof a full 5-star rating.

Overall: Blanco's Kartoffelhof is a fantastic spot for delicious, perfectly prepared food at fair prices. Waren heute zum ersten mal in dem Restaurant und sind leider nicht begeistert. Der Service & das Ambiente sind sehr gut und nett , jedoch sind die Wartezeiten recht lange und die Zutaten teilweise schon etwas älter. Der Mais im Salat war nicht mehr gut ebenso die Wurst und der Quark vom badischen Dreierlei. Die Wurst schmeckte ranzig ,der Quark säuerlich nach gekippter Milch und der Mais schmeckte nach Schimmel. Der große gemischte Salat entsprach nicht unbedingt einem gemischten Salat wie man es kennt, es war lediglich Blattsalat mit Gurkensalat und ein bischen Gemüse Topping. Kartoffelsalat ( wovon man eigtl ausgehen darf im "Kartoffelhof" ) sowie Krautsalat oder z.b Karottensalat fehlte. Wir werden wohl kein zweites Mal die...
