Fischerstube Stolzenhagen — Restaurant in Wandlitz

Unfortunately no pictures to go with this review. We were in the area for the weekend and my partner got hungry - never a good state to be in. After consulting Google NearMe this restaurant popped up and wasn't too far away and most importantly - it was open, unlike all the others along the way in the area on a Saturday noon. We had the fried cat fish and fried carp, for the little one - a pasta plate, which was way too generous for a kids meal but then again, so were our portions. The cat fish came on a sea weed salad which was extremely nice, had bite and was well seasoned with the cat fish well fried, crispy but a little beyond being on point. The carp was also very well portioned with 4 huge pieces, which were well seasoned, and had a great, almost unexpected clean flavour. a local specialty it seems, warm potato salad, very nicely balanced and quite savoury. Nothing to regret here. The recommended white to go along was their house by the glass and was a good match to accompany the fish. The place had rustic furniture and atmosphere, with the fireplace burning very cozy and the service was fast and efficient. Noteworthy, the Fischstube does value even the youngest of guests with juice served in child appropriate cups with straw and, if needed, has high chairs available. This is my first review and I must say I never understood why people write bad reviews till today. This is such a nice location but if you are not german dont bother, as soon they hear us speaking Italian we got treated really bad. The girl with blonde hair shouldn’t be allowed to do hospitality, besides be really rude she completely served the wrong dishes but even when we told her she looked at as like we were coming from the moon. Schockierende Erfahrung mit mangelnder Sicherheit und unprofessionellem Verhalten

Wir sind zutiefst schockiert von unserer Erfahrung in der Fischerstube Stolzenhagen.

Bereits bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir vom Personal komplett ignoriert, als hätten wir nicht existiert. Das legte den Grundstein für eine bedauerliche Erfahrung. Doch was folgte, übertraf alles, was wir uns je hätten vorstellen können. Unser knapp dreijähriger Sohn stürzte von der ungesicherten Terrasse, eine über 1 Meter tiefe Fallhöhe, weil ein Sitzkissen verrutschte und verletze sich dabei. Dieser dramatische Vorfall wurde durch offensichtliche Sicherheitsmängel verursacht.

In unserer Verzweiflung wurden wir erneut vom Personal ignoriert, während wir mit unserem verletzten und stark blutendem Kind durch das Restaurant eilten. Als wir die stellvertretende Restaurantleiterin auf den Vorfall ansprachen, erhielten wir stattdessen nur eine unverständliche Bemerkung: "Sie sind doch Eltern?". Diese Reaktion war völlig unsensibel und unprofessionell.

Es ist inakzeptabel, wie in einer so kritischen Situation gehandelt wurde. Die mangelnde Sicherheit auf der Terrasse und das Verhalten des Personals haben uns zutiefst schockiert.

Wir fordern dringend, dass die Sicherheitsmängel behoben werden und das Verhalten des Personals überdacht wird. Unsere Erfahrung war nicht nur enttäuschend, sondern auch gefährlich. Wir erwarten immer noch eine angemessene Antwort auf diesen Vorfall, nachdem wir den Inhaber im Nachgang per E-Mail kontaktiert hatten. Bis heute gab es keinerlei Reaktion von seiner Seite.
