Ristorante alla Fontana — Restaurant in Wandlitz

Beware: tourist trap.

The location is lovely, the food is okay (although it made me feel strangely nauseous), the price is not outrageous but there are very rushed and rude waiters who destroy what could otherwise be a nice restaurant. I was also overcharged for my meal, but I only realized it the next day.

Two examples:

1. a couple of elderly was walking towards the toilette, the waiter came with some dishes behind them and became annoyed that they could not walk as fast as him so kept shouting "schneller, schneller" (faster, faster) until he could pass over them. They did something similar to me, but the fact that they did not respect even old people was insane.

2. when I asked for the bill (können wir bezahlen?) the waiter just responded briskly "Selbverständlich!" and brought the bill 5 minutes later. I told him I'd like to pay with credit card and he responded (raising his voice, to what half the restaurant turned their heads to see) that it was not possible because I didn't ask for that in advance. I went inside to the kitchen and resolved it with another waiter, who resolved the case after another 5 minutes. Super annoying and so...

Italian restaurant with ambitions but a lack of attention to ingredients. The tomatoes used in the pasta are rock hard and barely pink, and should embarass any Italian chef. Better are available. The "prosciutto" on the pizza is not only really tough, and thickly cut, but not true to the name. The pizza dough needs strong flour 00 and time to develop the gluten that this dough lacks. The parmesan offered dried out days ago, leaving zero flavour behind. We sent back the dead salad and the replacement was totally ok, but again with tomatoes that need 5 days to be close to servable. Good restaurants do these things. And the tiramisu stops being traditional after the saviordi that are faithfully used. But nowhere to be found are the egg yolk laden marscapone, and enough espresso to be tasted, unlike the sugar syrup which dominates this whipped cream thing. Good service, though we were the only table to not receive bread and olives, and we had to waive like drowning swimmers to order dessert, 14 minutes after our mains were finished. They asked how we liked everything, but I'm only good for 1...

Ich kann die 5 Sterne Bewertungen nicht verstehen . Vor einem Jahr war alles noch Top , aber jetzt . War letztens mit meiner Begleitung da . Der Laden war mäßig gefüllt und wir konnten uns einen Tisch aussuchen Das an der Tischdecke Käse klebte, merkte ich erst später. meine Begleitung bestellte eine Pizza und ich selbst eine Lasagne. Beide essen kamen nach circa 7 Minuten, was mich wunderte, dass es so schnell ging. Als ich anfing, meine Lasagne zu essen, stellte ich fest, dass diese total sauer war. Ich war mir nicht ganz sicher, ob die Lasagne vielleicht schlecht oder sich einer ein Scherz erlaubt hat und diese mit Essig oder Zitrone gewürzt hatte Nach dieser Feststellung rief ich den Kellner erzählte ihm, dass das Essen ungenießbar sei. Seine Antwort schockierte mich etwas, denn er sagte, es sei schon die dritte Beschwerde dieser Art an diesem Tag. er fragte mich, ob ich ein anderes Essen möchte. Ich war etwas überfordert mit Situation, da er mir nicht noch einmal die karte brachte, um mich in Ruhe für ein anderes Gericht zu entscheiden, sondern neben mir stand und eine andere Bestellung aufnehmen wollte. Ich bestellte dann schnell Spaghetti Bolognese, obwohl ich diese Speise sonst nie bei einem Italiener bestelle. Nach circa 5 Minuten kam auch dieses Essen an den Tisch der Anblick verdaut mir eigentlich gleich den Appetit, weil es eine zusammen gemalte Pampe war und nicht wie üblich in Restaurants die Nudeln auf dem Teller drapiert und darüber die Sauce war. Da ich Hunger hatte, war es mir erst einmal egal. Ich fing an zu essen und stellte fest, dass die Bolognese die Konsistenz von Babybrei hatte und diese Sauce leider genauso sauer war wie wie die Sauce der Lasagne. ich aß also nicht auf und ließ den Teller mit dreiviertel der Speise auf dem Tisch stehen. Nebenbei gesagt, war die Pizza meiner Begleitung auch nicht sonderlich gut. Zur Mitte hin wurde sie eher latschig . ein Kellner kam, räumte den Tisch ab und fragte, wie es uns geschmeckt hätte. Ich antwortete ihm, dass die Spaghetti Bolognese genauso sauer waren wie die Lasagne zuvor und bestellte die Rechnung. Auf der Rechnung stand die Lasagne drauf, was wir natürlich sofort korrigierten, und es gab weder eine Entschuldigung noch vielleicht eine kleine Entschädigung auf Kosten des Hauses, was mich sehr traurig machte ich hätte mindestens erwartet, dass wir vielleicht in Likör, ein Getränk vielleicht sogar das komplett versaute Essen nicht bezahlen, bräuchten Fazit für...
