Service: Awesome! "On point" would be a better choice of words. The waiters and the owner of the place made us feel royal.

Food: outstanding, tasteful typical Bavarian food! I found, it was well priced. For a massive dish (i.e. schnitzel) and a beer, I paid less than 20 bucks.

Location: I am here on a business trip, so I don't know the area well. It was easy to find. If you ask around for Birnbaum, everyone will be able to provide direction.

Music: atmospheric, easy and not disturbing

We got bad directions and ended up in the middle of farmland in Bavaria. We got hungry and there was NO PLACE to eat! One nice lady referred us to the next village to Birnbaum. We got here and it was closed. We must have looked very sad...the owner came out and when we asked where we might get food he thought, and realized that there was nowhere close that would be open. Outstanding food, service, everything with a smile! This restaurant is a must visit - don’t miss it! Loved the family feeling too. For children there is a playing area outside. You may be seated indoor or outdoor. You may sleep over too - they have 5 cozy bedrooms. Food price is very fair and food is plenty and yummy. They have a party room for approximately 30-40 guests.
