Pizzeria Capri - Holzofen — Restaurant in Weiden in der Oberpfalz

Large and tasty pizza. Good local beer. Enjoyed the pasta but would love just a little more garlic. Flash forward two weeks, my son and I decided to visit again. Placed our and started talking, before we knew it, an hour had passed. Our waiter walked by and you could see the light bulb go off, he forgot to place our order. 15 minutes later our food was rushed out, we were given some garbage story that they were busy and gave us our food. They WERE busy when we arrived but the tables were all empty but two when our food arrived. No apology, no offer of any kind of discount. We angrily ate our food, paid and left. I am 59 years old and it was the first time in my whole life that I did not tip. They will not get another dime out...

We live right around the corner from Capri and get their pizza and pasta a few times a month. They kindly let us practice our German on the phone but speak English when we can't remember words! They are always friendly, quick, and the food is reliably delicious. Generous portions! Do yourself a favor and try the Rigatoni al Forno. Sooo tasty! Im Westen von Weiden, direkt an der B470 am Ortseingang, findet man die Pizzeria Capri, ein Muss für Liebhaber der Holzofenpizza. Die sehr netten Wirtsleute backen die Pizzas in ihrem Holzofen knusprig und frisch. Wir waren am Sonntag mittag da und die Pizzeria war gut besucht. Wir hatten verschiedene Pizza (2 x Napoli, Capricciosa und Hawaii), ein Pizzabrot, die Vorspeise Antipasto di Mare sowie Gemischten Salat und Salat Hawaii. Dazu Bier, Lambrusco und Wasser. Alles in allem ein sehr gutes, reichhaltiges Mittagessen. Meine Pizza Napoli war so groß, dass sie über den Teller hing. Der Wirt ist ein sehr sympathischer Mensch, er bediente uns sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Zum Abschluss lud er uns noch auf einen Amaretto ein.
