My husband and I have dined here multiple times. On 5 Dec we arrived around 19:15. Three tables around us we’re finishing up their meal, paying, and leaving. Our server greeted us. She was very polite. We ordered our drinks and approximately 10 minutes later, we ordered our meal. 45 minutes later I finally received my goulash soup. Shortly after that both mine and my husband’s meals arrived. Meanwhile, the three tables around us had new customers sitting then there, received their food, and were pretty much done eating before I even got my soup. Needless to say, I was not happy. I could not understand what was taking so long for our meal to arrive when we clearly ordered before any of the tables around us. After we ate, I asked for a to go box for my noodles and sauce. They only had tinfoil to offer me. It took 17 minutes for our server to acknowledge that we were finished eating. She should focus less on rolling silverware and more on the customers at their tables. By the time we paid and left...
Read moreIf you like restaurants in theme parks, or event gastronomy, or generally faux authentic places, then this is your thing. The atmosphere is a lot of fun, from the neat carvings and character on the walls to the fully cartoonized menu. I was happy with just that. But then came the food.
I ordered the schnitzel sight unseen. After ordering I saw one pass and began to try to mentally prepare myself for the battle ahead. This schnitzel is no joke. It is absolutely massive. Shockingly though, the don't just let the size be the reason to order it. This was the most delicious schnitzel I've ever had. I was actually able to get the whole thing down, much to my surprise and joy.
I would highly recommend this to anyone, whether you be a local or someone passing through for a day. Easily my favorite restaurant...
