I’ve been a loyal customer at this Starbucks for a while now, and I can’t praise the staff enough. Every barista is incredibly kind, attentive, and devoted to making customers happy. They work especially hard on weekends when the lines are practically out the door—somehow, they manage to keep everything running smoothly with warm smiles and stellar service.
But there’s something every customer should know: due to AAFES regulations, these baristas aren’t allowed to openly display a tip jar. If they do, AAFES claims a large percentage of the tips, which is truly unfair. So, if you appreciate their dedication, ask them about the “secret tip jar.” By doing so, you can help make sure they actually receive the gratitude they’ve earned.
What’s even more frustrating is discovering that these skilled and hardworking baristas only make 13 euros an hour. That’s right—13 euros for juggling countless orders, accommodating endless customer requests, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere day in and day out. It’s genuinely enraging to think that individuals who pour so much energy and heart into their work receive such minimal compensation.
So, please support them in any way you can. Whether it’s through a friendly comment, a thank-you, or by asking about that secret tip jar, every gesture counts. These baristas deserve to be recognized for the incredible job they do each...
