Lovely family run guest house. Booked as a stopover on our way to Croatia. Phoned to say we were going to be later than our estimated time of arrival because of traffic and that was fine. Room was clean and comfortable. Food from the restaurant was delicious, reasonably priced and varied. We sat on the terrace where there was plenty of room and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. There was the choice of whether to stay for breakfast. we had an early start but as breakfast was served early we stayed and weren't disappointed. It set us up for the days drive ahead. It is in beautiful countryside and as we had our dog with us it was a perfect place for walking. We would have loved to stay longer. There are signposted walks / footpaths of various distances and the owners will make up packed lunches for walkers and cyclists if wanted. Will definitely be returning there to...

I was on a full week hiking trip on the Goldsteig, starting in Neunburg vorm Wald to Lalling. Fourth stop was on a Wednesday afternoon in Wiesenfelden. Which is right on the hiking way of Goldsteig and Jakobsweg, perfect spot to take a break. The family is very friendly, I could check in easily as well as the check out with no problem and all the good wishes for hikers. The Breakfast was really special, home made cheesecake and fresh blueberries from out of the forest - all was there and very well served. Many different guests from Netherlands, Denmark, Hungary and locals at the dinner room and well as breakfast. Real Bavaria and International food in the restaurant for affordable prices. I slept very well having a double bed room all for myself, only Moskitos might bug you when you sleep with open window. All good its a must to stay and...
