Very friendly staff, Good honest food for good honest prices. Atmosphere is probably the same it has been for a very long time. While it feels a bit dated and the WiFi connection in the rooms could be better. It is well maintained very clean and relatively spacious.

The place is also dog friendly, and there is plenty of countryside roads to walk or cycle nearby. There is also a lot to do in the region if you come by car. Just don't expect proper public transport here. Bike lanes here are really good though. Which isn't typically german.

Another bonus is plenty of room to park and it's a very safe environment. So ideal for an stop when crossing into italy the next day.

I normally stay in hotels 30 days a year and am normally happy. ||This stay though was horrible, I stayed ina a room with a noise that was horrible...impossible to sleep and no reception to call and change the room.||The day after the owner told me she does not believe what I was telling her and that I must be imagining things. Great location with affordable prices We've had just one night while passing the area. The dinner we had in their restaurant was nice and atmosphere was nice (Sunday evening). Room was clean and comfortable. Great temperature over night
