We booked this place as a cheap stop over on our route back to the UK and were initially surprised at the seemingly low price when booking on booking.com web site and thought it was a bargain. we assumed we would be getting a basic room in the house but we were shown the converted cow sheds which were very frugally furnished and each bunk had only one thin blanket and no linen which could be rented at an extra cost of 5 Euros per person, which was not indicated on booking.com website. we had a very cold night .it was freezing even at this time of.For those staying in these converted barns there was no internet reception, again mislead on there advert with booking.com. Wir waren dort im Haus im Dezember. Gemütlichkeit ist ander. Als wir das Haus betraten, war es von der Temperatur genau so kalt wie draussen -1 Grad. Als wir in unsere Zimmer gingen, waren es 13 Grad. Schnell versucht die Heizung aufzudrehen. Ging nur bis 21 Grad. Die Heizungen haben einen Schloss drin, wo man nicht auf die Stufen zugreifen kann. Nach ca 30min war das Zimmer warm (aber für mein Kind und mich noch kalt). Der Gang zur Toilette war ein Alptraum. Ca 3m lagen zwischen unserem Zimmer und WC und dieser Gang war als würde man vom Kühlschrank ins Eisfach fassen. Kalt kalt kalt!! Bei Bedienung der Klospülung kommt das ganze Wasser erst mal mit Druck auf einen zu. (Siehe Foto) Das ganze Haus war kalt. Die Dame dem Haus gehört, konnte man nur tlf erreichen. Beim Anruf hiess es "ah die Heizung ist aus?" Unglaubwürdig!! Am ersten morgen dann zum Breakfast wieder kalt kalt kalt. Ich würde über Winter niewieder in das Haus. Alles auf Sparmodus. Das Frühstück auch! Aber damit konnte ich leben, jedoch die Temperatur im Haus SCHRECKLICH. Jetzt liegen meine Kids und ich flach mit Bauchschmerzen durch Unterkühlung...
