Kentucky Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Wirges

We ordered online via the app and opted to make payment onsite. Payment via AMEX isn't accepted but via VISA was fine. We were attended to by the General Manager Mr Yusuf who was very courteous, efficient and attentive (he saw we were waiting at the payment area and immediately approached us - the younger employees may have been shy or still under service training). We dined in and felt very comfortable. The dining area was clean and tidy. We had hot wings, some chicken tenders and a crispy chicken burger to share. Food was good, beverage area for self-collection was clean and tidy, and I definitely felt that I have had the best crispiness quality of the chicken batter here than other KFC outlets in Germany thus far! We spotted 2 KFC delivery cars parked at the carpark so they do deliveries too and you've the option via the app. Wish I lived closer to this outlet, the service by Mr Yusuf stood out and the team did great with cleanliness despite it being a Sunday which may probably have more traffic. There is a children play area indoors and plenty of parking space....

I am a lorry driver, and I was in the wash next doors, I figured hey, I will grab some warm food. I come to the door and those are locked, because only the drive through is open. Great, but my lorry doesn't fit. I mean I can stand there in row of cars like a weirdo, on freezing rain during winter. It's like KFC doesn't think lorry drivers are people, that need to eat. We are to you second class citizens right?? And don't come to me with the pandemic restrictions, as I ordered food inside not long ago, but I guess it was inconvenient for you guys to keep this up. Lorry drivers don't need to eat right?? I am so glad that I supply...

Some points for improvement; The font for the order numbers that are ready or in preparation are way too small. Older people’s eyes cannot read them from a distance. There are benches with pointy edges - watch out for them to avoid bruises! It is a little too light inside, we dont need high beam lights to see the tiny fries. When some items are unavailable, we expect some kind of compensation and not just a random unwanted substitution!
