Sangam Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Zwickau

Location and ambiance:- its the best place until now in Zwickau to try Indian Food.

Service:- Was not crowded... on Sunday noon... so order was taken instantly and took moderate time to serve the food for 5 person. Mostly depends upon.. what you order. We had to wait for around 30 mins. But it was worth waiting.😋 Also received papad in complement. I liked the chili sauce with it. They also offered dessert for free. But we were too full to accept it.

Taste:- My butter chicken and dal fry was prepared with nicely blended spices and was flavorful as it should be. I liked their way of serving rice. Nan was nice and crunchy at starting but got bit chewy at the end. But it is normal.. it should be finished before it get cold.

Location:- It took us while to find the entrance, its way around from parking. Simple and sober interior.. as it should be. Most of the Indian restaurants that I have visited in Germany used dark color theme to give Indian taste.. which I didn't like personally. Nice balcony seat arrangement.

Cost:- Rates are bit higher compared to other Indian restaurant in Zwickau. But I will not say that it...

I came to this restaurant today for lunch and was super happy by the quality of the food and service. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. The menu had a great variety of dishes and everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. I particularly loved the onion kulcha, which was cooked to perfection with just the right balance of spices and flavors. The portion sizes were generous and the presentation of each dish was beautiful.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal and...

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, die auch Geduld hatte, wenn bei der Auswahl der Speisen mancher Begriff nicht ganz klar war.

Wir hatte das Mittagsmenü mit Tagessuppe. Geschmacklich typisch indisch eine tolle Vielfalt an Geschmacksnuancen auf Grund der sehr gut abgestimmten Gewürze. Gerne kommen wir wieder und probieren uns weiter durch die Speisekarte.

Abschließend muss ich noch ein großes Lob aussprechen. Wir hatten eine Person im Rollstuhl dabei. Zwar kann sie selbstständig aufstehen und 1-2m gehen mit Hilfe sind möglich, doch mehr geht eben nicht. Wie bei Google vermerkt ist das gesamte Lokal barrierefrei und auch die Gänge und Türen (Türbreite geschätzt über 80cm, auch im WC-Bereich) sind breit genug für den Rollstuhl. Zwar gibt es kein gesondertes Behinderten-WC, doch für unsere Bedürfnisse war es geeignet/machbar. Es ist leider keine Selbstverständlichkeit, weil oft auch baulich nicht möglich. Bei der Reservierung habe ich diesen Umstand mit angegeben und so hatten wir einen sehr gut zugänglichen Tisch, an den ich den Rollstuhl auch gut heran schieben konnte (keine Tischbeine im Weg, um die man nicht die Füße herum schieben kann). Hier also auch eine Empfehlung für Menschen mit einem gewissen Maß an Einschränkungen.
