I always order from Oliver Twist Shack because I like their food, especially how they spice their quarter chicken. So, I decided to order their food earlier than usual from Bolt as soon as I saw they were open to accepting orders. When the food arrived, they had served me a leftover meal, and I could smell how old the oil was from the kelewele. It really disgusted me because, for how expensive that small kelewele is, the least they could do is give their customers quality food. The chicken was also old, and I could taste the old oil; it was very dry and unpleasant. The jollof rice looked like it had been reheated countless times. Just because your customers order from Bolt Food doesn't mean you should treat them like this. I am very disappointed and angry because I paid over 100 cedis for some leftover food. The least you could do for your customers is to give them quality and fresh food, and you didn't fulfill that. Do better next time. Read moreFirst be warned they can't currently take foreign credit cards! The manager said they are working on it with the bank and hope to resolve it soon. They have a huge beautiful outdoor area with bar and also a smaller indoor seating area as well. The Cinderella drinks we ordered were very good but seemed like a small amount for the charge. They didn't have any fresh juice, but had some boxed options. They were out of Lamb Chops so I got Peppered Goat which was fantastic and chose the yams (crunchy and hot) and kelewele (generous portion) to go with it. I was hungry and could barely finish it all. They have large portion sizes. Since plantain is technically out of season right now I was shocked the kelewele was soft and sweet just the perfect way I like it. Everyone else liked their choices as well, the grilled chicken and fries tilapia. We'll definitely be back, but will remember to take...
Read moreI love Oliver Twist Shack for its innovative ways in bringing entertainment to its clients. In recent times the shack could not play music aloud due to traditional procedures in the area in which it is situated. I was amazed to see how the pub had secured headsets for any customer who walked in and wanted to have fun...you are able to listen to the music being played alone and still have your fun at the same time meeting local government regulations. Kudos to them. It shows how innovative they can be in the midst of challenges and still remain the funkiest place to come and have fun.
The ambience is nice and the wood detail of the design of the place makes it a welcoming place to enjoy yourself. Food is also good with well...
