I had an amazing time here with a group of friends. We were attended to really quickly and our order did not delay in coming. The meals are a bit on the pricier side but with the wonderful ambience, I'd say it was worth it. I ordered Fried yam chips with honey-glazed chicken wings. Though I could not taste any honey on the chicken, it was a good meal. My friends ordered Jollof rice with goat which he really enjoyed, and fried rice with chicken sauce which wasn't so enjoyable (she said both the fried rice and the chicken sauce were a bit bland). There was also live music with the musician (who was very good) having a wide selection of songs which made the time spent there enjoyable. I'll definitely return.

I've been here twice: first time was for their breakfast, the second time was for lunch on Sunday for their locals. Breakfast was delicious, and beautifully presented. The waitress was friendly. I had an issue with my card payment and the accountant helped resolve it. My bank reversed the transaction as it was declined on Ambe's payment terminal. On Sunday afternoon, my family had fufu but they complained the soup was a tad salty. Additionally, it took them forever to serve us our meals. For the overly long delay and saltiness, they get a 4 star for food. I had the banku and tilapia and it was good. Will visit again.

I had their breakfast package and the scrambled eggs were so creamy and the waffles were very fluffy. Probably the best eggs and waffles I’ve ever had in Ghana. My only issue was the server didn’t know some of the names of the pastries in the breakfast package. We didn’t get syrup for the waffles( it honestly didn’t need it but it would have been nice to have it)and instead of butter for the toast, we were offered margarine(the kind used for baking). Everything else was amazing and we had a nice time there. Ambience was great and the owner was wonderful.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ambe Restaurant in Kumasi, and I can confidently say it was the highlight of my trip! The food was truly exceptional, with an impressive array of options to suit every taste. From traditional dishes to international favorites, every bite was a delight.

The ambience was equally impressive, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met.

But what really set Ambe apart was the consistency of excellence. We were so impressed that we returned the very next day! I personally fell in love with the loaded fried rice - it was hands down the best fried rice I've ever had.

The kids' colouring activities were a lovely touch, keeping them engaged and happy throughout our meal.

Ambe Restaurant truly made our trip to Kumasi worthwhile. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience in Kumasi, look no further. We can't wait...

This was my first time dining at Ambe. We went for lunch on a Saturday. Patrons have a choice of indoor and outdoor seating. We chose indoors because of the heat. We were shown to a small, 4 table room. Each table had 4 seats. The atmosphere was a bit unsettling because of the size of the room. Also, even though the tables were set well and the chairs of good, comfortable quality, the room appears to have seen better days. One of the "Ambe" signs on the walls was missing the letter "E".

The food we ordered was excellent and served in large quantities. The spring rolls we ordered as an appetizer were excellent. The one issue was that my partner ordered Jollof rice and was served fried rice. Our waitress brought a complimentary drink to make up for the error. I had the fried calamari, which was one of the best I've ever had.

All in all it was a pleasant dining experience. We will return to try the...

The decor was really nice. Unfortunately we arrive before 12 around 11.45am when they only served breakfast and you have to order a package breakfast meal you cannot order individual items. We asked the waitress when food would be available she said at 1pm. We asked will food be available to eat at 1 or will it be to order - she said available to eat. She said she would take our order in time for 1pm. We waited till 1. Only to be told by another server that only local food is available and food like rice is likely to be served at 2pm. When we asked the first server she went to argue with the other server rather than correct her mistake. We waited over 2 hours and got nothing. I’ve never experienced such poor service and misinformation before. We managed to get our drinks and left to go to No5 down the road. Nice establishment but let down by customer service which is shocking. Also women's toilets...
