Mabel's Table — Restaurant in Central Region

I personally find Mabel Table a place to relax and enjoy all that you call for. Very excited to know the owner of the place is just around the corner and she is such a humble personality to deal with. Her residence is attached to the guest house and she comes out to serve the visitors without them knowing she is the owner. Her presence within the facility gives a sense of security. The meals here is great. They have both continental and all local dishes available. The restaurant is right into the ocean and this makes it an added excitement to stay here. I have use this place with school children two times and i must say, am happy about their services and the environment. Mable's table is really my favorite place to eat in Ghana. Mainly we come here in the evening and order mostly the more Western food. Some of our favorites are the hamburgers and fries (chips). We've eaten a lot of burgers here and never had a bad one, also they are quick at bringing burgers out. Battered fish and chips, (they make very good battered fish), and also the chicken curry. I can't speak for the hotel side, we've never slept here, or the breakfast- need to try that sometime... Get burgers if you want quick service, we've had to wait a while on fried chicken already. Quaint hideout. Prompt service.

I went there with a group. We were allowed to bring along our own food. For a fee, of course!

Place has a great view of the sea and the sea's reflection of the sunset. Only offers a direct view of the sunset from a couple of huts closer to the shore. But these huts are not in as good repair as the rest of the facility. Also, these huts give a great view of the debris-ridden sand on the shore. The facility itself is clean, their portion of the beach is not.

Only hammock I saw was in poor state. Safety of that thing is in question.

Has parking space, though some parts of the area gets soggy...
