Abrantie's Akuapim GRILL — Restaurant in Eastern Region

Definitely not worth the hype! My wife and I were eager to try out Akuapim Grill because it had been talked about much. Between the two of us, we ordered fried rice, chicken sauce, fufu and light soup with fish. The order alone took forever to be placed and we had to keep changing the order because the waitress kept coming back to tell us that had run out of this and that. After a long wait the food finally arrived and I had my fried rice with chicken sauce. All I'll say is that I've had fried rice and chicken sauce that tasted much much better from the roadside food vendors. My wife had to chew a few pieces of minty gum to keep the nausea down after her soup. We also had to compete with flies, which I absolutely hate around me when I'm having a meal. The plates and crockery were very old as can be seen from the photos. Both the music and TV were on and loud making for a chaotic and noisy environment. Had to plead with them to turn one off which they did hesitantly. We were very happy to leave and not go back. Hopefully they'll improve...

I pulled up to the place and I guess because it was a Monday the place was super quiet but after having my food and something to sip on I concur that this is one of the best place to dine in.
