Food Yard — Restaurant in Greater Accra Region

My recent visit to Food Yard restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a calm and inviting atmosphere that made dining a real pleasure. The environment was clean, peaceful, and perfect for enjoying a good meal without distractions.

The menu had a wide variety of mouth-watering options, and several dishes immediately caught my eye. After much consideration, I decided to dine in and enjoy the experience fully. My meal cost between 150 to 200 cedis, which was very reasonable considering the quality of the food and service I received.

One dish I absolutely recommend is the steamed assaulted protein — it was perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of rich flavors that left a lasting impression. Every bite was satisfying, and I could tell great care had been taken in the preparation. The service was also impressive; the staff was polite, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my meal.

Overall, Food Yard delivered on taste, service, and ambiance. I’ll definitely be returning soon, and I encourage anyone visiting to try the steamed assaulted protein — it’s a true highlight on the menu.

Terrible service. I have been supporting this Restaurant for Years since they opened. They are never organized, You have to yell at the top of your lungs for them to hear you because there is Loud music always playing in the background every time you call to place an order. I order my food 10:21pm today, they did not call to notify me that my food is ready until I called them back at 11:40pm and they told me the food was ready but unfortunately no delivery service at this hour. I said no problem. I got there about 10 minutes later. My food can’t be located, only to find out about 5 minutes later that my order was never taken earlier. They offer to retake my order but I respectfully declined. They gave me a refund and I left. I and my family has put a halt to this joint until they get the right staff/management in place. Tasty Food, Slow Service — Call Ahead to Save Time

Stopped by for a meal and left with mixed feelings. The food was genuinely good — we had the grilled catfish with fries, and both were on point. The fries were crispy, the catfish well-seasoned and grilled just right. No complaints on taste.

But the service? Slow. Surprisingly slow, especially considering the place wasn’t even busy. It took way too long to get our order, which killed the vibe a bit.

A few other things to note: • The menu prices didn’t match what we were actually charged — not a huge difference, but still annoying. • Seating is limited. There aren’t many proper dining tables, just sofas and low tables, which aren’t the most practical for eating.
