Jenny's Restaurant — Restaurant in Greater Accra Region

One of our favorite places to eat. We are happy that the dining area is back open for dine-in! They have a pretty extensive menu... but with only a few... Maybe 2! local dishes... and 2 Nigerian 👀 dishes.... We live in the neighborhood and frequent there a lot. They have kelewele on the menu but each time I inquire they are not serving it. It would be nic(er) if they had more local dishes... I am surprised they do not offer, at least, plantain and waakye... avocado... They do offer palava sauce. Traditional chicken stew and red red, periodically, would be nice.... I understand that it's Lebanese owned and not a traditional Ghanaian resturante. But how does one choose which local dish they will serve. Anyway. I would give another half of a star just for some plantain! The fried rice is great, too, by the way. And did I mention their perfect chips! I came to their site tonight to check for the closing hours! I hope 10 p.m....

Went there twice this month and the first time the service was unwelcoming. Spent two hours waiting for food and only got half of what was ordered. The food we got was tasty. We had issues with payment via mobile money and we paid double but yet to receive refund after over a week (no feedback from restaurant). Customer service and waiting time has gotten worse.

The second time, customer service was better, waiting time for food was okay but now the food was not as good. The place for hand washing before you enter the restaurant is an eyesore ( tissue left all over, veronica bucket is so low and the water really takes it's time).

I would go there again though cos the place has...

For a restaurant that doesn't have competition in terms of where it's located, their meals are cool. Fingerlickingly great. It's only the prices. I think the price of banku and tilapia is ridiculously overpriced. Or maybe it's my pocket talking. But I can bet on it, you'll have your money's worth. Neat at the very best and a cool place to munch on something whilst you complete your assignment or get your last minute project work done. Oh and...
