MAYDAY FASTFOOD (SHARWARMA) — Restaurant in Greater Accra Region

This food joint disregards customers and customer service. Called an hour ahead to place an order and on reaching, my order wasn't ready. I was made to sit for over an hour and yet my order was never prepared instead my order was bypassed several times to serve other people who just walked in. Really won't advice anyone to patronise from them. It really isn't worth the trouble and disrespect.

Just realized that after a few hours, the owner decides to respond to my earlier review and goes ahead to prove exactly what I wrote without even realising it. Instead of apologizing and offering to make it up to me (like a good business would and not that I even need it), the owner decides to showcase an appalling and disgraceful display of complacency. You may be comfortable with the numbers you get every night, you may even get good reviews and honestly some of them don't even care how your staff treats them so far as they get their food but you have no idea the number of potential customers being turned away by someone's bad experience. In this social media day and age, you have no idea the number of people one person has influence over. Word of advice, TREAT EVERY CUSTOMER LIKE THEY'RE YOUR BEST EVER.

Mayday is located in a suburban space, which gives it family and neighborhood style atmosphere. You can either order ahead, pick up or dine in at their outdoor seating.

The service and the staff were quick. We got the beef shawarma, which was good. The boiled eggs were an unexpected, yet healthy, surprise. The food was filling at the time.

I also tried their sugarcane juice, which turned out to be too sweet for me. There was an after taste that I couldn't quite place as well. Other brands add lemon or ginger to their sugar cane juice to offset the sweetness, I would suggest MayDay offer those as...

Hands down the best shawarma in town, I have been patronizing them for 5-6 years.

Unfortunately I have to leave a negative review... I called and placed my order like I always do only to get there to find out they have sold my order to someone else. 😭😤

It definitely soured my afternoon. Not what I expected after so many years of customer loyalty.

This is the second time mayday is letting me down. First time I ordered on the phone, only to reach the location and to be told they’ve run out of bread 🙄
