Super slow service - kitchen closed - inadequate courtesy by management.
Right from the start, there had been a few red flags that one normally overlooks. Odered 2 beers and asked for the 8 piece wings with french fries. Upon asking for fried wings, we were given our first red flag, that the fried wings would take an hour to prepare and that we should get the grilled wings instead. Giving the benefit of doubt, we went ahead with the grilled wings and told our server that we would let her know about the main order shortly.
The wings weren't really the juiciest and did seem like a pre-made order that might have been reheated for us.
Nevertheless, upon finishing our beer, it took close to 10 minutes by the watch before a server was present in the outdoor area to place our order with. After finally having placed our order for the second beers, I asked for the food menu around 10:35pm to which I received a curt reply from my server that, "The food has finished and the kitchen is closed." Their closing time is 11pm. (A few others seem to have faced the same issue, so I'm rather surprised that the management hasn't learned about announcing the "last order" for the food and/or drinks.)
After having expressed my disappointment and requesting to speak with the manager, my server miraculously came back to tell me that the hot dogs were available. I turned down the generous offer and waited patiently for the manager. Upon his arrival, I explained to him how I had not been informed of a last order and that it was unheard of in all the restaurants I had been to previously to close the kitchen and not offer a last order. He claimed that there was a certain problem with the supplies in the kitchen which is why the food had finished and was unavailable.
All this before 10:50pm. I was quite disappointed that the manager and management didn't even offer to try and check with the kitchen or offer us something to make up for our unfortunate situation. I have had better courtesy shown to me by previous management at the same location and management at other restaurants.
We paid the bill in full and respectfully left with an empty stomach and no time to visit and other restaurant either. I really don't think I would be visiting again, comparing the fact that for the same price point or maybe even a little higher, the alternate options we have would be much more welcoming and accommodating towards us as as patrons.

Read moreI was super excited when my wife suggested we get food from potbelly shack. Upon arrival I knew instantly that It was not going to live up to my expectations. We were not welcomed when we got there and had no idea what the layout was like. We noticed people sitting outside with no food on their table and no one waiting on them, this made us question if they were opened or not. We managed to find the entrance (after trying door number 3). We entered and found our own table as no one was there to show us one. We sat for about 20 mins and decided to call a staff to take our order as they just kept walking by us. The waitress we called made it very clear she was not supposed to be taking orders from where we sat “but I will take it and give it to her”, so basically she was doing us a favour. Honestly at this point I was ready to leave but I had invested too much time considering where we drove from and the time already spent there. We were told the food would be ready in 15mins, but I strongly doubted it as only one table in the restaurant had a meal infront of them and we weren’t even sure if the waitress who took our order had passed it on to the elusive waitress who was actually supposed to take our order. To pass time I decided to get my wife and I some cocktails at the bar (I still didn’t know who our waitress was so I went up to order). I placed my order and the young man was more interested in having conversations with different wait staff who kept popping up, although they were no where to be seen in the actual restaurant. After waiting about 10 mins with no sign of my cocktails ever turning up, I went back to the table cos my 18 month old son had started acting up (oh we saw kids meals on the menu but no one offered a high chair). I took my son outside to calm him down, whiles outside I was approached by a random guy who was also waiting for his order who basically made it clear that waiting and the customer experience was normal. Our order took over an hour and half. Honestly after waiting that long the meal had to be well worth it, the meal was actually very mediocre, nothing exciting or new. Oh and we opened our meal to check it before we left only to realize we were given wings as an alternative to an order they didn’t have. Read moreI had a horrible experience as I was disrespected by the manager. I came to Sunday buffet early cause I wanted a good place to sit and enjoy the food and live band. When we got there the only 2 table for two was occupied however there were about 4 other tables for 4 unoccupied. As we were about to sit, the manager insisted we go to the indoor sitting area instead of outdoor one. We obliged and went inside however when we got there we realized we can not enjoy the whole experience as we have to come to the outdoor sitting area to get the food then carry it all the way inside. We then made the decision to come back to the outdoor area and sit on the table for 4 and for other people to join us. As we were sitting there, the manager came to us and with an angry face and asked why we came back to the outdoor area. I explained to her that we will miss the whole experience. Then with a sarcastic tone and a mannerism that says she really doesn’t care told us that it’s unfortunate then. Instead of finding a solution since this was clearly a problem, she went ahead to bring a large family to the table and insist we stand up. I understand it’s a table for 4 but I came there early, the place wasn’t full as there were other unoccupied seats and they arranged only 2 table for two. The crazy part is that the indoor place she wanted us to go sit at was mainly made up of tables for 7 and over.
