This is a true hidden gem in Thessaloniki. If you want to have a dining experience of your life-this is the place to dine. The owner-chef loves to cook and there is no other way to describe it. We tried homemade dolmades, fried feta coated with honey and sesame seeds, fried zucchini appetizer, pork with purple potato sauce and sage sauce and liver with mashed carrots in addition to several other small dishes. I have dined in some very fine restaurants all over the world but this was truly a dining experience that I will never forget. Intimate restaurant with a covered and heated seated 'smoking' area at the front with a main room

An extensive and varied menu of entree, main and side dishes all were well presented in quick succession

A limited selection of beers as well as barrel wine; dry white, red and semi sweet rose were available

Complimentary bite sized cheesecake and a Greek sweet were offered at the end of our dining

Laid back, greek music was at a comfortable level without needing to speak at a large volume

Svoura is a very pleasant place to dine whether you go alone, or with a group of friends or family!! It has indoor and outdoor seating. My husband and I have had the pleasure of visiting many times! Their plates are delicious and their variety is very large. They have meat dishes, and fish and vegetarian dishes as well. It’s a joy for us to dine there when we can, and when we can find a table.
