We reserved to go on Monday after Easter. We had such high hopes. When we arrived, they had given a lot of the foods to some people on a huge Range Rover who came to buy take out last minute with their staff. As a result they didn’t have most of the dishes for the reserved customers. Instead of explaining or apologising, the waitress many times said “I completely understand your point having booked two weeks ago, and we will not be offended if you choose to go eat somewhere else”. Imagine! This is Monday after Easter where you cannot find any open seats anywhere last minute. And instead of serving a customer who booked early (with 3 kids and 2 elderly), you ask them to go away. We finally ordered the lamb meals but they were completely fatty and badly cooked. We also ordered a spaghetti dish which was tasty but came an hour later, after everyone else finished. Since it was mentioned that it was organic, I asked them where they got the meat from, but the waiter just said we got it from a butcher shop nearby but we’re not sure where it comes from. So it wasn’t really organic after all. At the end, they offered us a desert for free, marble (mosaiko), but it was not fresh. And then they charged us 30 euros more which we only realised after we left the restaurant. So check your bill at the end!

Read moreChild unfriendly! Its like we were at museum, not garden. One small lady in charge was very very unpleasant regarding our kids touching flowers and plants which are all over the terrace where the tables are. At the end, when my wife said that it was unpleasant for us and why it was like that, she ended yelling at my wife too. If she were man that would not pass without serous consequences.

Your comment refers to the style of the remark we made. You didn't deny what we objected to with any comment, which is that your restaurant is a completely unfriendly environment for children.

Read moreWe had the most wonderful time celebrating my birthday with a cookery class at En Kefallinia.
The atmosphere was relaxed and Georgia was the perfect host. Michalis, our cookery teacher, was patient, engaging, and made sure everyone got involved in the preparation.
We had requested a vegetarian menu and learnt how to make gemista (stuffed vegetables) and spanakorizo (spinach rice) with fresh ingredients including produce from the garden.
Lunch was a feast, we enjoyed the dishes we had prepared, more dishes from the menu, and finished with Greek yoghurt and various fruit compote.
It was a warm, social, and unique experience that felt perfect for a special occasion.
