Edit: honestly leaving such a long reply back to a customer shows being defensive about something off. I stand by my review. The meat wasn’t cooked in front of us. And the thing about it the bread basket, multiple restaurants have given this complimentary. Yes it’s normal to have bread with food here, but it’s not normal to sneakily add it to the bill.
Wanted to try this out because of the good reviews, however in retrospect the recents one are probably left by family. The deeper you go the worse the reviews. I’m also not one to leave bad reviews, especially on family business, but definitely skip this one. First, we wanted gyros but they didn’t have. So ordered souvlaki, which tasted frozen. It was chewy, stringy and had a bad smell. That smell that transfers to your cup. Service was meh, vibes were boring. Also the bowl of bread is a hidden charge, didn’t ask for it. Quite sneaky as it appeared complimentary. Also the bill was very expensive for the quality and much higher than usual food prices around kefalonia. Skip this, not...
Read moreDisappointed. When I visited this place a few days ago I ordered 1kg of lamm chops that were amazing. I thought like nice, it's good to have nice lamm chops nearby since we are moving to the neighbourhood. Today I returned to have the lamm chops again but instead I was served sheep chops and less than 1kg that I ordered. The quantity was obfiscated by a pile of fries that I haven't even ordered. I was charged for 1kg of lamm chops that are more expensive than the sheep chops. The owner could have been honest by saying sorry no lamm chops today only sheep chops and less than 1 kg. Not happy. Not recommending at least for someone who knows what supposed to arrive on his plate.
I understand that many people visiting Kefalonia can't tell the difference between lamm and sheep meat and that they are often enchanted by big plates...

I wish I could say something positive, but unfortunately, our experience here was far from enjoyable.
First, we were charged for the bread basket even though we never asked for it. This felt like an unnecessary and sneaky addition to the bill. The chicken was dry and tasted frozen.
They claimed the food would come with tzatziki, but it didn’t. Instead, we had to order it separately, and what came with the meal looked and tasted like burger sauce—not what we were expecting or promised.
The service was poor, with inattentive staff who seemed uninterested in making the dining experience pleasant. To top it off, the atmosphere was unwelcoming and lacked any charm or appeal.
For the price we paid, we expected so much more. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. There are far better...
