Το ραβαΐσι — Restaurant in Chios Municipality

We've been on Chios for a month and this is one of only three restaurants we would give a 5.0 review. A charming location on the village square, a friendly and helpful waiter and delicious food. We had a Greek salad, which we've had many times before. The tomatoes and cucumbers had been selected by someone who knows when vegetables are at their best. We had fries, but these were better than most fries...long and thick and not greasy. The best, though, was the pork in lemon sauce! My partner used the salad spoon to ensure no sauce was left behind! I've been coming to Greece since 1971. This is Greece how I remember it - amazing food, generous hospitality. Luckily, we have five days left so we will go...

Owner lady (the lady giving the bills?) kicked a cat willingly while smiling! This is animal abuse. Shame on you!

I also don’t understand why they told me that kokoretsi was made from porc. Normally it’s lamb.

Amazing atmosphere and food! Portions are huge! We paid 45 Euro for 4 adults. Nick served us, and he was very friendly and good at his job. Next time we will be in Chios we will...
