We chose this place to try some seafood, and overall it was a nice experience. It’s a classic Greek taverna — no music or anything, just a quiet atmosphere. The view is beautiful, and even though we didn’t have a reservation, they seated us at a nice table. We had asked for an another table, but were told it was reserved — though no one showed up the entire evening. Not a big deal, just something to note.

The service was fast and efficient. We ordered calamari, Greek salad, fries, fried zucchini and eggplant, octopus, and tzatziki — all with some ouzo on the side. The bill came to €60, which we found reasonable.

The octopus wasn’t really to our taste — a bit tough and lacking flavor — but the calamari was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. The zucchini and eggplant were cut quite thick; we would have preferred them thinner and crispier. That said, everything else was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared.

The food is very delicious. Looks like that the recepies are original to the place. The small bait fish with onions was highly successful (especially if you like onion). Other meals we tasted were also very nice. The small desert offer was extremely delicious too. The atmosphere is also great, sitting next to the sea and having a very good scenery.

The issue seems to be with the service. The young fellow who served us either doesn't like his job or doesn't like foreigners :) I know, where I come from has generally really poor attitude to labour including waiters. I hait to be like that but I do not want to feel unwelcomed either. The experience of eating out is not just about eating but also having a social civil connection.
