I had the chance to visit it during summer. I had read the reviews and I was glad that I would have the chance to go. However, it was one of my worst experiences in restaurants. In the table we sat there was some used plates from the previous customers and some plates that looked clean (probably not used from the previous ones). The waiter DID NOT collect all plates, he collected only the “dirty” ones and served us in the plates that looked not used. He did the same with the napkins, but one of the “clean” napkins had lipstick on it!!!! When I asked for a glass, he picked up a glass from the next table, that had also some clean and some dirty plates! We ordered for starters some cold plates (sauces) and came in room temperature, meaning that were out of the refrigerator for a long time. The waiter insisted that it came directly from refrigerator. If their refrigerator is working like that, I could not imagine how is the quality of the food. Luckily, we were all healthy. I would definitely NOT going again, and I do not recommend it It is supposed that during summer, when it’s the high-season for them, you do your best to have your customers satisfied. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mpaxari during my trip to Greece, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. This charming restaurant located in Ag Erimioni offers a delightful atmosphere, impeccable service, and scrumptious food.

Service: The service at Mpaxari was nothing short of exceptional. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and incredibly friendly. They made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived until we left. Our orders were promptly taken, and our food was served with care and a smile.

Food: Now, onto the star of the show - the food! I had the pleasure of trying their seafood risotto, and it was a flavor explosion. The risotto was perfectly cooked, creamy, and infused with the rich taste of the sea. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the dish was beautifully presented.

Conclusion: Mpaxari restaurant in Chios, Greece deserves all the praise it receives. If you're in the mood for a memorable dining experience with great atmosphere, impeccable service, and mouthwatering food, make a reservation here. It's the perfect place to savor the flavors of Greece.

Sometimes, restaurants of this style tend to overprice their menus, but this place truly delivers in terms of value for money. We were very impressed. The food was delicious. The fried calamari was excellent, and the ‘kadayıf-wrapped shrimp’ was outstanding. The Greek cheese in the salad was fried and added a delightful touch. The shrimp saganaki was generous in portion and quite filling.

Fresh fish is priced per kilogram, so it might seem a bit expensive, but overall, the dishes here cost half of what you’d pay in Turkey, with portions nearly 1.5 times larger. For this reason, I highly recommend it.

Additionally, this restaurant has been ranked among the top 100 places to eat in the Mediterranean—and rightly so, in my opinion. Be sure to make a reservation. If you’re lucky and there’s a free table, you might get in without one.

The atmosphere is family oriented with plenty of space and larger tables to accommodate for every person/group size. The service was quick and the staff very polite whilst giving us enough time to try the bread with the spreads and then the salad before the main, although it felt hard to get a hold of a waiter if you are patient in 1-3 mins you'll be seen and serviced. The food was amazing and I don't say this lightly, for an establishment on an island like Chips and far from the center we were pleasantly surprised by the tasty dips with the fresh warm bread, the Caesar salad was refreshing with the small carrot sticks and the perfect ratio of sauce to lettuce, the pork chops were coocked just right with a little bit of overcooked areas but nothing noticable, the barbeque sauce was sweet and just tangy enough to enhance the taste of the meat, while the chicken was very good, the free desserts and wine at the end were quite good!

İçindeki sebzelerde de peynirde de bir tat uyumu yoktu. Ama bahari salata; peyniriyle, sebzeleriyle, sosuyla, doğrama tekniğiyle her şeyiyle harika bir uyum içinde lezizdi. Likörü içmeyebilirsiniz ama tatlılar temiz afiyetle yiyebilirsiniz. Fiyatlar, adanın geneline göre biraz pahalı. Mesela limana yakın iyi olduğunu bildiğimiz bir restoranda ahtapot yaklaşık €10 iken Bahari'de €15, karides yine öyle biraz daha pahalı genele göre. Ama yediğiniz her şey o kadar lezzetli ki inanın verdiğiniz paraya acımıyorsunuz.
