Top quality Greek tavern in Agoriani square. Tasty appetisers , salads including fried cheese , fries with eggs , plain fries , green salads , and more. All tasty meat plates including filled burgers, pork and beef steaks of different types and cuts (including premium cuts tomahawk and Iberico) . Also traditional cooked meat plates including cock cooked in wine and milk lamb and more. Fast service even in busy hours and well cooked , tasty plates. Warm atmosphere in winter. Nice location in Agoriani square , half hour away from Arachova tourist village.

Very nice food and atmosphere, the all time classic fried potatoes with fried eggs is one of the best choices. On the other hand the flap steak must be one of the best steaks you have ever eaten. I fully recommend you to go to this venue and i'm sure you wont leave dissapointed.

The food was good. Sadly, that was the only good thing about the place. They gave us 2 different menus (photo attached) with different prices. Apparently they decide what they want to charge on the spot. Ordered salad, appetizers, lamb chops and two home cooked dishes (these are ready when you order). Salad and appetizers were served within 5 mins from the time we ordered. The rest did not arrive till one hour later. The waiters are clueless and rude. We were calling the waiters and they ignored us. When confronted, they replied that they have no intention to reply to our questions. Terrible experience, please avoid to not ruin your day.

Το φαγητό είναι εξαιρετικά νόστιμο. Πολύ καλά ψητά και νόστιμα μαγειρευτά σε ικανοποιητικές μερίδες. Οι σαλάτες και τα ορεκτικά είναι λίγο πιο τσιγγούνικα σε ποσότητα, αλλά εξίσου νόστιμα. Δοκιμάσαμε αρνίσια παϊδάκια, μπριζόλα χοιρινή, κόκκορα κρασάτο, χόρτα εποχής και τζατζίκι. Όλα πολύ γευστικά. Το περιβάλλον είναι πολύ όμορφο, όπως σε όλα τα ταβερνάκια της πλατείας. Η εξυπηρέτηση είναι γρήγορη, αλλά παντελώς αδιάφορη, τυπικά "τουριστική". Το μενού και το γενικότερο στυλ του μαγαζιού είναι κάπως μπερδεμένα. Σαν η ταβέρνα να μην θέλει να είναι ταβέρνα. Παραμένει όμως ξεκάθαρα ταβέρνα. Που σερβίρει μπριζόλα tomahawk (γιατί εάν δεν πας στο χωριό των 5 κατοίκων να φας tomahawk, πού θα πας?) δίπλα σε λαχαντολμάδες, παϊδάκι των 42€/κιλό δίπλα σε ταπεινό τζατζικάκι, και κρασί χύμα σε κολωνάτο ποτήρι διαλογής πανεριού.. Κρίμα.. Θα μπορούσε να ήταν πολύ καλή εμπειρία..

Πήγαμε ανήμερα 28ης Οκτωβρίου και σε όλο το χωρίο γινόταν χαμός. Βρήκαμε να κάτσουμε σε αυτήν την ταβέρνα αλλά μία ώρα ακριβώς μετά την παραγγελία μας ενημέρωσαν ότι τελείωσαν τα μεγαιρευτά! Μα τα είχαμε παραγγείλει μία ώρα νωρίτερα!!! Διαλέξαμε αναγκαστικά της ώρας. Εγώ πήρα μπιφτέκι και μου έφεραν κάτι σαν κεφτεδάκια (δείτε σχετική φωτογραφία) ενώ ένας φίλος παρήγγειλε μπριζόλα η οποία είχε τόσο άιμα που αν του ζώου του κάναμε ανάνηψη μπορεί και να επανερχόταν στη ζωή. Απαράδεκτο, την γυρίσαμε πίσω και ο φίλος μου έφυγε νηστικός. ΄Όταν ζητήσαμε λογαριασμό ο σερβιτόρος μας είπε ότι δεν χρέωσε την μπριζόλα. Προφανώς και δεν θα την χρέωνε αφού δεν την φάγαμε, όπως φυσιοκά και δεν θα χρέωνε και τα άλλα φαγητά του κατολόγου τα οποία δεν παραγγείλαμε.

A very nice culinary experience in mountainous Greece! Traditional dishes prepared with special care and presented in an very nice way. The service friendly and fast and the owner Nikos make the place a must for visitors.
