Tavern "George" — Restaurant in Delta Municipality

We had the privilege of visiting the wonderful restaurant “Taverna George” in Thessaloniki, along with my dear family. Our experience was truly memorable and authentic.

Right from the start, we were impressed by the attentive reception we received. The warm and welcoming ambiance of the place set the perfect tone for an unforgettable evening. We were accompanied by the tempting aroma of freshly cooked dishes and the friendly smiles of the staff.

We indulged in a delightful variety of authentic Greek dishes. From the Bouyourdi, with its enticing combination of cheeses and fresh vegetables, to the Saganaki that won us over with its crispy texture and savory flavor. The Tzatziki was a true delight for our senses, and the fried calamari and shrimp were expertly cooked, bringing a note of freshness to the meal.

To complete our culinary journey, we were treated with a gift from the house. The delicate pastries, the fresh watermelon ice cream, and the enticing aroma of coffee perfectly concluded this feast.

Was here and had dinner. Served mussels in tomato sauce. My guest pork souvlaki and mix grill. As appetizers feta cheese with hot pepper and eggplant fried with some tomatoes and cheese. Επισκεφθήκαμε για δεύτερη φορά την ταβέρνα! Η πρώτη ήταν εξαιρετική σε όλα! Η δεύτερη απογοητευτική σε όλα δυστυχώς! Φυσικά την ημέρα του Δεκαπενταύγουστου περιμένεις καθυστερήσεις και δείχνεις κατανόηση σε πολλά. Αυτό όμως που συνέβη ξεπερνούσε τα πάντα. Μας πήραν παραγγελία 40 λεπτά αφότου καθίσαμε. Μετά από παράπονα και αλλά 30 λεπτά που πέρασαν μας έφεραν τα πρώτα πιάτα και μετά από αλλά 30 λεπτά και άλλα δικά μας παράπονα μας ενημέρωσαν μεν πως κάποιος είχε ξεχάσει να μας πει ότι το ένα κυρίως που παραγγείλαμε είχε τελειώσει και.... κανείς δεν μπορούσε να μας πει γιατί δεν είχαν καν μπει στη σχάρα τα υπόλοιπα πιάτα. Μας πρότειναν να μας κεράσουν γλυκό! Μας έφεραν πιάτα και κουταλάκια και το.... κερασάκι στην τούρτα; Μας ξαναμάζεψαν τα πιάτα λέγοντάς μας πως το γλυκό είχε τελειώσει!!!!
