Highly disappointing, especially in terms of food quality.
The fried calamari, which was supposed to be fresh, tasted bad and was not what we expected. Instead of being served in the traditional rolled style, it consisted of small calamari fried in an unappetizing way. The risotto with shrimps was bland and lacked any flavor, leaving us very disappointed. Additionally, the dish with koutsomoura was also tasteless, with no interesting dressing or seasoning to elevate the dish.
When we shared our concerns with the staff, their response was shockingly unprofessional: “This is the way we cook.” This dismissive attitude left us feeling unheard and added to our overall dissatisfaction.
In summary, the food was underwhelming, and the lack of care shown by the staff was unacceptable. We had high hopes because of the reviews but unfortunately would not recommend this...
Read moreA Hidden Gem of Greek Gastronomy!
This authentic Greek family owned and run fish tavern is nothing short of culinary heaven. The atmosphere is delightfully relaxed, with wooden tables under the shadowy trees.
The Food? Simply Divine. The menu is a tribute to Greek coastal tradition—fresh-caught fish grilled to perfection, drizzled with fragrant olive oil and lemon. Their grilled seabass was a standout: crispy skin, tender flesh, and a burst of citrus with each bite. Pair it with a classic horiatiki salad, loaded with juicy tomatoes and velvety feta, and you're tasting Greece itself. And don’t skip the appetizers! The grilled king shrimp was golden, light, and addictive, true craft.
Every dish feels like it was made with love, and the hospitality is heartfelt.
Whether you’re a traveler or a local, this fish tavern will steal your heart and keep you coming...
Read moreThis restaurant was recommended to us by our guide that took us up Mount Olympus. He said it's the best place to get fresh seafood. The atmosphere under the sycamore trees with all the lights is absolutely beautiful and the food did not disappoint! The biggest surprise for me was the lima bean appetizer. I basically do not like lima beans but they were slow cooked in a tomato sauce with dill. I don't know, they were just amazing! I have only had rubbery octopus and I told him that and he said you must try my octopus which he had a fava bean purée on the bottom and then the octopus was cooked in a tomato sauce and it was tender and delicious. This is our third night in Greece and our first two dinners were recommended restaurants in Litochoro, And this restaurant is only 7 miles away and much better in terms of food...
