Old café - Fofo's desserts — Restaurant in Dion - Olympos Municipality

This place is in an absolutely stunning position with fantastic views. As a result, it's very popular. It was extremely busy when we got there and had to queue up outside, but the staff couldn't cope woth the amount. Of people and it was total chaos unfortunately. People pushing in. Saving tables, etc. Nobody understood the idea of a queue. There were also too many tables out making it feel like you squeezed in like sardines. It was so busy the staff simply couldn't keep up worh the orders. They did try very hard though, but they were understaffed for people they crammed in. The men's toilet was a health hazard. Urine soaked the floor and toilet, it hadn't been cleaned in some time and the smell was bad. Although a woman did come to clean it, but only so womcould use it too to reduce the toilet queue. Basically it's a stunning place that serves beautiful fresh food, and lovely drinks. But the lack of structure and organisation massively let it down....

Not kid friendly at all ,i have 18 months old baby, outside started to rain ,apparently we had to move inside the coffee shop cos was getting very serios cold and wet, we couldn't go to the car cos was parked very far away so we decided to wait till the rain will stop, apparently took a while, we order some more drinks ,we met other couple who had a baby as well and we start chatting, meanwhile our son started to get hungry and start to cry, we didn't aspect that we will spend 1 and half hours in that shop so we where not so prepared, anyway the owner while she came to serve drinks to other costumers said to my wife your kid makes to much noise, i mean i was not expecting that, so what you want me to make to an 18 months baby tell him to shut up? Go out in the rain? We could ask me how we can assist ,or i ca bring...

The best thing to start your day in Palaios Panteleimonas is to visit “To Palio Kafeneio-Ta Glyka tis Fofos”. Started my day with a Greek traditional coffee and fresh baked Spanakopita.
