Tavern Archontiko — Restaurant in Dion - Olympos Municipality

We were on vacation at the beginning of September 2023 in this region with our friends. The weather was rainy and not ok for a beach and we decided to go to the small mountain village of Panteleimonas. Thus, we found this exceptional restaurant. The furniture in the restaurant is not pretentious, but the food was incredibly tasty. The service was quick and the waiters were polite and smiling. They responded to our wishes and did whatever was necessary to make us feel good and satisfied. We had a great time there and were really happy with everything. Subsequently, we visited them again the next day and our initial impressions of this little restaurant were solidified. I went with hope for yet another, good Greek' cuisine experience. Unfortunately it was the worst food I had after 2 weeks in Greece and trying NUMEROUS places. Saganaki was basically cold and thus not soft at all (like a stale cheesecake). The grill imprints seemed to be pre-made.. Fries were definitely made with old oil, which not just tasted bad but is unhealthy. Many items from the menu were unavailable (e.g. lamb).
