Tavern Faros Koufogiannis — Restaurant in Dorida Municipality

This was the only place open in the neighborhood (it’s November) and oh what an enjoyment this was. This was the best food we had in Greece. The fried eggplant was godly, the tzatziki was the creamiest and the cheese was an Olympic standard. We had a tasty and quick lunch in this basic tavern in front of the harbour. We took a dish of small fried fishes and a fried codfish with fries. We spent 22 euro, in line with expectations. The owner was kind and let us see and chose the fish, informing us with the price....

Chance find as they were the only place opened when I visited mid Apr. Very friendly owners in this family owned store. We had the calamari, fried anchovies and grilled prawn spaghetti and they were all very fresh and well fried!
