Excellent food with fresh ingredients and use of local products, salads were amazing and everything tasted like the cook really liked you and wanted you to have something tasty and nice. Very tidy with care to the customer, people were kind and warm in their service and provided a very pleasant dining experience. Great atmosphere, with beautiful garden and very good prices on all the dishes on the menu. I strongly suggest asking the staff for their recommendations and get the most out of this experience All in all a great experience and I suggest a visit there if you want to try Ikarian as well as traditional Greek cuisine. An extremely tasty menu and a famous taverna for its variety, first quality local materials and overall experience. A lot of visitors drive the extra mile to visit this mountainous village of Akamatra in order to dine at Perix, which makes it a good idea to book in advance. All plates we ordered were great. Light tastes even at the plates one would expect more intensity - like hunkiar beyendi - which is beef with red sauce and smoked mashed aubergine. Definitely a place worth visiting in order to taste ikarian cuisine.

Food was very tasty and traditional here. We ordered the perix salad, mushrooms with blue cheese, the meat with aubergine purée and the cannelloni. It was all delicious and the portions were big - 2 of us struggled to finish it.

We were here as the sun was setting so we got to see all the beautiful colours in the sky from up the hill.

It was a little busy so the service was lacking and the staff were not attentive. So getting menus, ordering drinks, getting napkins, asking for the bill was a little bit DIY let’s say.. But I would probably go back for...
