My friend and I stumbled upon this charming seaside taverna during a leisurely drive along the northern coast of Greece. The setting was picture-perfect, with our table offering an unobstructed view of the shimmering Aegean Sea. The gentle sound of waves lapping against the shore made for a serene dining atmosphere, complemented by the warm, golden hues of the setting sun.

We started with a selection of fresh seafood, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was a testament to the quality of local ingredients and the chef's expertise in traditional Greek cuisine. The seafood was clearly fresh, likely caught that very morning, and prepared with care to let the natural flavors shine.

To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a bottle of ouzo, the quintessential Greek spirit that paired wonderfully with the seafood. Its anise-flavored notes provided a refreshing contrast to the richness of the dishes.

No Greek meal would be complete without dessert, and the portokalopita—an orange phyllo cake—was a delightful end to our feast. The cake was moist and sweet, with the citrusy flavor of orange perfectly balanced by the syrup it was soaked in. It was light yet indulgent, leaving us fully satisfied.

Service was attentive and friendly, with the staff ensuring that our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations based on our preferences.

Προσπάθησα να είμαι καλός και στη βαθμολογία και σε ότι θα πω αλλά … από την αρχή λοιπόν κάναμε κράτηση φτάσαμε στο μαγαζί 1:30 , παραγγείλαμε κανονικά η σαλάτα και τα ορεκτικά ήρθαν στο 25 λεπτό , ως εκεί όλα καλά … έχει πάρει η ώρα 15:15 ( μια ώρα και 45 λεπτά ) λέμε σε ένα σερβιτόρο που είναι τα κυρίως πιάτα ή φωνάξτε τον ιδιοκτήτη …. Με τα πολλά πήγαμε μέσα και αφού βρήκαμε την ιδιοκτήτρια μας ζήτησε συγνώμη ότι έγινε λάθος και πήγανε άλλου τα ψητά καλαμάρι και σουπιά που είχαμε παραγγείλει ! Της απαντάω ότι δεν έχουμε πάρει ούτε τα υπόλοιπα που έχουμε παραγγείλει … ως δια μαγείας μετά από 5 λεπτά ήρθε γαριδομακαρονάδα - γίγαντες που ήταν έτοιμοι από το πρώτο λεπτό - μύδια και χταπόδι ψητό ! Τα ψητά καλαμάρι - σουπιά ήρθαν μετά από δέκα λεπτά … για να είναι δικαίως ήταν εξαιρετικά αυτά τα δυο ! Φυσικά ξέχασαν τα μακαρόνια τα σκέτα για το ένα παιδί της παρέας πήγα και τα πήρα από την κουζίνα εγώ ο ίδιος ! Και πάμε τώρα στο εξής όταν έγινε όλη η φασαρία κτλ με την αργοπορία - λάθος της παραγγελίας λέει η ιδιοκτήτρια τα ψητά από εμένα κερασμένα , απαντάμε εμείς εάν είναι να περιμένουμε άλλη μισή ώρα δεν τα θελουμε ! Τα έφεραν όπως είπα στο δεκάλεπτο και ήρθε η ώρα του λογαριασμού! Φυσικά ζητήσαμε να πληρώσουμε , και κανονικά ήταν υπολογισμένα και τα « κερασμενα « 😂! Όσο θετική διάθεση έχω όπου και να πηγαίνω πρώτη φορά έζησα αυτό το θέατρο του παραλόγου ! Μου ζήτησε συγνώμη από την αρχή αλλά η μέρα και η διάθεση χάλασε και ολοκληρώθηκε από την συμπεριφορά που ουσιαστικά ήταν σαν να μας κορόιδευε ! Εύχομαι να μην το ζήσει σαν πελάτης τέτοια ανάλογη συμπεριφορά ( όπως επίσης να βελτιωθεί ) . Καλή...
