Sanaa Coast — Restaurant in Kalamaria Municipality

The new toy in town requires immediate and professional training to service, accomodate as well as organize its managing strategies. On January 2, 2022, I attempted at least 5 times on the mobile number posted along with the stationary listed which was out of service. I finally spoke to Xristo Peko on mobile who informed me that they were not taking reservations but we will be accommodated upon arrival. Yes upon arrival at 9pm all the adolescent non drinking age teams were welcomed who usually sit with one drink for 3 hours without tipping the staff!! Patiently waiting for entrance we were seated indoors no outdoor availability but understood. A bottle of Alfa Rose was ordered with 2 appetizers from the menu. The waiter announced the kitchen was closed due to ailment of the kitchen crew at 9:30pm??? The bottle of Rose was opened with no accompaniments which is a traditional practice in Thessaloniki. Upon addressing the issue a miniature bowl of circus nuts were brought and a few gathered breadsticks with a tiny sauce. Meanwhile platters of bruschetta and other finger foods were exiting the closed kitchen to other patrons!! A second bottle of Alpha Rose was ordered, I politely expressed the question to the manager of why we were told the kitchen was closed upon our order for appetizers. We were not asking for any charity contribution but needed a substance in our stomachs for the second bottle of wine from the menu. The 1 star is only for the location and the view because everything else was a disaster. We arrived there and we had to wait in the door while they had 3 people working as a PR .the bold hair PR man was arguing loudly though the airports with the stuff inside in front of the costumers witch was very UNPROFESSIONAL. He gave a seat inside in a big sofa while outside in the balcony area they had 2 empty tables with sofas. Once the coffee arrived we asked for an ashtray and they said smoking is not allowed inside then I asked the waitress to change us seat because we are smokers and she send us the PR blonde girl I asked her the same thing and also showed her the 2 available tables outside she said give me a minute and she left and never came back we had to go all the way outside of the place for a cigarette and come back in! We was there 40 minutes and the 2 tables outside were still empty! I understand that hospitality is a difficult job in general itself but since your staff CANNOT do this job and they are rude loud and ignoring their costumer then they should change jobs!! Te music extremely loud for a 5 o’clock coffee and that makes the place NOT children friendly we couldn’t even listen to each other and have a conversation.
