t was my great pleasure to see Mixali at Oi Mouries for the 4th year in a row. What an amazing reception we received. It was like reuniting with family. I cannot tell you how much my family and I love Oi Mouries. This is a hidden gem. You will not find better food or people anywhere. This is an amazing generational family owned business that has been operating for over 100 years and takes the concept of local, farm to fork cooking to another level. Wonderful experience at a farm to table taverna We had an amazing dinner at Mouries while visiting southern Evia. Highly recommended by everyone, we had high and they did not disappoint. The group shared the Mouries salad, Greek salad , seasonal greens , local sausage, short ribs, grilled deer , lamb with local pasta, an enormous pork shank and grilled chicken. Everyone of the items were delicious and very fresh. The service was very friendly and efficient. The owner and chef Michaelis greeted us and was very responsive to our questions and feedback . Quite a disappointment as it was suggested from some locals.

What we liked was the environment at the village of Paradeisi. The whole natural environment is majestic, the service is fast and professional and the ambiance of the tavern is good. The bread was great.

It is a tavern that is trying to be more sophisticated regarding food but it misses the basics. Fried potatoes weren’t so fried, the tiropitari was too salty, fasolakia with touloumoturi was very salty. The chicken wings were ok but again with a lot of salt and the kotsi was not so good.
