Akrogiali, Nea Stira, Georgios Sakkas — Restaurant in Karystos Municipality

To owner wanted to give us the last table in the far back, when he heard that we were not speaking Greek. „All reserved“ ans pointed in the last corner of the terrace. But we had a look at the tables around and only some tables had a reservation notice. He was just putting us in the back because he wanted to. Look for another restaurant down the street. There you get a nice seat in front and good food as well. Here at Akrogiali, the owner thinks he is king and if you are not Greek you are a second class of human. And thank you for the totally unnecessary light pollution… the owner seems to think he is a 3 star restaurant with three bright LED lights....

needs improvement and by trying to fool customers is unacceptable! Not all food was good some was made fresh but unfortunately some was week old from the fridge you can easily tell when someone has old garlic spread that has gone bad! I got a bad case of the runs! And 36hrs of stomach pain! Also the olive oil was bad and mixed with sunflower oil, which made the greeens and salad taste horrible! Way too expensive especially when you see cutbacks like that! 2 stars...

4th year in a row visiting this family restaurant during our summer holidays, daily. It's been consistent in food quality, service and of course location and atmosphere. The owner is a perfection maniac and his "disorder" is manifested to his staff and restaurant. It's therefore established as "the one" to visit at Styra. Picturesque location next to the waves. Best time of the day to visit is during the sunset....
