Our recent dining experience at Metoxi was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the amazing service set the tone for a truly memorable evening.

Upon arrival, we took a shot to get a table without making a reservation beforehand (don't follow our example, make sure to book a table). The restaurant was extremely packed, and it seemed like finding a table would be an impossible task. However, the host pleasantly surprised us. Instead of turning us away, they kindly asked us to wait for just 10 minutes and assured us they would do their best to accommodate us. To our amazement, they managed to squeeze us in. This initial act of hospitality truly set the stage for what was to come.

The service throughout the evening was outstanding. The waitstaff was not only friendly but also incredibly attentive to our needs.

The atmosphere was enchanting - calming and cozy, creating the ideal setting for a relaxing evening, thus, a great view of the beautiful surroundings, enhancing our overall dining experience. It felt like a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Halkidiki.

And now, the pièce de résistance—the food! I can only describe it as a culinary masterpiece. On a scale of 1 to 10, the food here deserves a resounding 1000! The salads were not only generously portioned but also bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delight for the taste buds.

For our main course, we had the pleasure of savoring the beef bifteki, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. The meat was tender and juicy. Each bite was an explosion of taste that left us craving for more.

Overall, our dining experience at Metoxi was the highlight of our holiday in Halkidiki. The combination of impeccable service, a soothing ambiance, and mouthwatering cuisine made for an unforgettable evening. We left with our hearts and stomachs full :) I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, and I eagerly look forward to returning in the future. !!A wonderful experience!! My boyfriend and I visited Metoxi to celebrate our 3yrs upon recommendation from locals during our trip to Afytos, and we loved it so much we booked again for our last night. The staff were very polite, friendly and hardworking, a big thank you to you all for making it so special! An extended thank you to Mario who served us both nights, it was an absolute pleasure! 🙌🙌

The restaurant sits on a hill with stunning views and olive trees all around. The food menu is extensive including premium cuts of steak. On our first night we had the Fried Feta to start which was the best we had in Afytos. Followed by the Rib eye Black Angus steak from Greece and the Ox Cheek Ragu special which were both delicious. On our second visit we had the Feta again and the Beef Tongue (an acquired taste). Followed by the Ox Cheek Ragu again and their 'Soutzoukakia' which was incredible. The prices are very reasonable starting at €9 for huge mains making it very affordable. As well as steaks starting at €30 if you’re looking for something a bit ‘fancier’. Even the olive oil they offer is very delicious, we had to buy some locally to bring back with us! For dessert on both nights they brought out ‘Mosaiko’, a traditional Greek dessert, (similar to a rocky road but without the marshmallows) on the house which was incredible! You must make a reservation before you go, if not it is hard to find a place. We got reservation so we dont need to wait.

Parking is easy, not too many spots but enough for place.

View is good, place is nice in the olive trees. However, it is very hot at the outside and the fans are not enough. Flies are another problem, they make some smoke for each table if you want but it is not fun to sit in the smoke. You can sit inside but atmosphere in there is not same.

For the food and drinks: They got a nice wine list, enough tastes and choices. Salads and appetizers are good, and tasty. Meals are far worse than our expectaion. The meats are seems nicely cooked but i guess there is a problem somewhere at marination, preperation or meat itself; cause it is way too hard. Especially the lamb, we can't chew half of the plate. For the desserts, we order something else but they serve another dessert. The taste is okay, however it is not what we want.

For the crew, young ones are nice, they try to do their best; but older ones are a bit rude. After first order, when you want to add something else make sure that waiter understoods you; either you never get that thing or you have something else.

At the end, they reccomend this place to us as one of the best restaurant of the area and we went with big expectaions but we will not prefer or advice it to anybody. We don't like...
