Tavern Thomas — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

We have literally travelled through nearly every part of Greece, west, east and south, but the incredible warmth and hospitality we just experienced this evening, has left us truly speechless. The lamb chops and tzatziki were by far and away the best we have ever tasted!!! We were lucky enough to be staying 10 minutes away, but even a 45 minute drive to get here would be worth the trip. As a bonus, this tavern is located in a charming little village (Kassandra) that is worth visiting. If you are anywhere near this place, do yourself a favour and have dinner there. Like me, you will see that this tavern deserves all of the wonderful reviews it has...

Come molte persone che non sopportano il caos e la confusione totale, abbiamo cercato fuori mano un alternativa e grazie alle recensioni di Google l'abbiamo trovata. La taverna è gestita da un ragazzo giovane ed un suo assistente, vista da fuori alla taverna non gli dai un centesimo e non andresti mai a mangiare, ma noi siamo abituati a vivere queste situazioni e forti delle recensioni lette ci siamo seduti. Eravamo gli unici clienti, ma appena è arrivato il ragazzo che ha apparecchiato il tavolo abbiamo capito che eravamo in buone mani. Abbiamo cenato con suvlaki di pollo e maiale molto molto buoni, feta al forno con pomodori e peperoni OTTIMA, un insalata verde tipo cicorino , birra e succhi per i bambini e acqua. Il ragazzo ci ha offerto delle patate al forno ripiene veramente ottime e un po' di anguria nel finale, il tutto per 42 euro. Il menù è quello classico ma la qualità è ottima. Il gestore parla un ottimo inglese ed è attento a tutto ma proprio tutto.... Stavamo mangiando all'aperto e Mio figlio aveva fatto cadere una forchetta, lui ci stava portando i secondi e senza chiedergli niente ci ha portato un set di posate pulite perché aveva sentito cadere la forchetta dalla cucina... Sono rimasto molto colpito da questa sua attenzione. Per chi vuole pranzare o cenare con tranquillità potendo parlare liberamente , il locale è consigliatissimo. Dimenticavo , c'è anche la wifi perfettamente funzionante, noi abbiamo verificato le spiagge per i prossimi giorni e sicuramente torneremo alla...
