We bought a holiday home in Kea nearly 2 years ago and live in NYC. We have eaten at most of the restaurants on the island but consistently, this would have to be by far our favorite. George, Irinie he's wife and mother and father run this restaurant with everyone contributing to the amazing food which comes to the table. We have never tasted such wonderful salads (very different to your typical Greek salad, but wait until you try the zuchini or the lental salads OMG. The meats, the daily traditional Greek dishes are cooked to perfection by George and the cheeses, the fruits are made by mum, the vegetables all grown by the family. Everything is cooked with such appreciating for the land and what arrives on each and every dish is incredible. Irinie, Georges wife will greet you and in my opinion is one the most wonderful ladies on the island, such a great sense of humor. We love the fried calamari, skordiala, the traditional daily dishes they cook are just beautiful,.The moussaka, the meats, the home made bread to the best yalaktapouriko you'll ever taste. I have also stopped for brunch (late breakfast) after 10am and George made me the best omelette, mum squeezed me orange juice from her oranges and it was fantastic. We will never have to drive all the way to the port for breakfast ever again Truly a must and we always look forward to...

Greek / Mediterranean cuisine with many of the dishes having a little modern twist to them. Finely prepared and cooked, normal (Greek normal) to large portions and fairly priced. The dishes of the day adds more “scent” to the available menu choices. I believe the octopus salad is a must try. The “enclosed” feta is also really interesting. The place is easy to find and has a small parking lot that can accommodate some cars (the rest can park rather safely on the sides of the road near by). Great little place and pet friendly owners which...
Read moreA tastefull experience. 90% of their ingredients not only local but their own production. We had mostly a vegetarian meal ( we will definitely come back for the meat experience) George and his mother Niki welcomed us as members of their family and made us feel like cousins. The food a concert for our pallet. Then the desert.. OMG the chocolate cake, the orange jam and the home made liquor was the high note of this taste concert. Thank you George and Niki for making us part of...
