Stay away, don’t waste your time and money. We have decided to give it a try, thinking it is traditional food. We were very quickly disappointed. Starter: zuchini flower stuffed with cheese, we did not know it is fried and we did not eat, we gave it back. The waiter was very annoyed and asked “what do you want me to do with it?” . Second dish: chicken with vegetables in the oven. We expected roast vegetables with pieces of chicken. The lady came with a plate filled with chips, like a mountain, on top of it few small slices of peppers and few pieces of chicken on the bone. Ordered wine and fresh lemonade, it was not tasting like fresh lemons. What we got at the end: horrible service, disgusting food, horrible plating, bad attitude... and they charged for the starter we did not have. Best thing is to eat where is full, in the resorts, in the marina. Some villagers have no customer manners and they are loosing...
Read moreVery well prepared food, served by very hospitable people. Extremely pleased with the visit. We tried the stuffed zucchini flowers, which are a rare delicacy. They were excellent and better than the ones we have tasted in Lesvos, which says something. Zoe's Salad included some local bread pieces, again very tasty. The sheep chops were nice and lean yet not dry, grilled over charcoal just right! The vegetable dish, briam, was a tasteful surprise, never had such good briam, included artichokes. Finally, the dish of the day, rooster prepared with red wine over pasta was very sweet, but neither overcooked nor obliterated in sauce. The good taste came through just right. We tried the local white wine, very refreshing and had just the right edge for a summer say. The portions were very large. Given the food quality and the amount served, this is unequivocally a great value. Highly...
Read moreAmazing view of the village along with the sea, all while enjoying an extraordinary meal. Went there to eat 5 days in a row for both lunch and dinner and every meal was freshly made. Fantastic salads along with exquisite and authentic Greek dishes. The menu is mostly meat however there are a few options that a vegetarian would enjoy, it was as simple as asking.
Cannot wait to revisit the location not only for the food but the most breathtaking beaches in ALL of Greece.
Highly recommend the chops. Best and freshest I have ever had. Also the coal that they cook with is made locally, which gives all the food a much more...
