Kantina Gyra da Varka — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

Dora and Spiros are wonderful hosts in this little cantina directly on the beach. The drinks are cold and the food delicious. They make great coffee and the atmosphere is super relaxing and chill. On top of that, the beach is fabulous, directly in front of the cantina. 100 m to the left the beach is practically deserted so you can have it just for your own before returning back for delicious souvlaki with pork and cold beer or gin tonic. I spent a couple of days there during my two week visit to Lefkada. The beach is perfect and the sunbeds are free, yes FREE. In an island where you can spend 50 Euro for two beds this was a surprise. Not only that the parking is free too. The restaurant was nice and everything was fairly priced and tasty. The staff was lovely too. I traveled by this place for over 30 years. Always wondering what's on the other side since I never took the ti'm for those years I decided I'm pulling today. What a found was old Greece. Just like I remember the beaches in the 60s. It's got a beautiful location, beautiful view And very inexpensive, there's plenty of parking. You don't have to go anywhere else.
