Dora and Spiros are wonderful hosts in this little cantina directly on the beach. The drinks are cold and the food delicious. They make great coffee and the atmosphere is super relaxing and chill. On top of that, the beach is fabulous, directly in front of the cantina. 100 m to the left the beach is practically deserted so you can have it just for your own before returning back for delicious souvlaki with pork and cold beer or gin tonic. I spent a couple of days there during my two week visit to Lefkada. The beach is perfect and the sunbeds are free, yes FREE. In an island where you can spend 50 Euro for two beds this was a surprise. Not only that the parking is free too. The restaurant was nice and everything was fairly priced and tasty. The staff was lovely too. The lady that worked there called me Neil Sedaka, and shouted it out when my food was ready which was quite funny. I highly recommend that you pay this place a visit while on...

I traveled by this place for over 30 years. Always wondering what's on the other side since I never took the ti'm for those years I decided I'm pulling today. What a found was old Greece. Just like I remember the beaches in the 60s. It's got a beautiful location, beautiful view And very inexpensive, there's plenty of parking. You don't have to go anywhere else. On the Island Park up front, go up to the restaurant the chairs are free. The beach chairs are free. So have a good holiday and enjoy

ESPERIENZA NEGATIVA. Siamo arrivati al locale seguendo le numerose recensioni positive. Ordiniamo e aspettiamo molto tempo prima che la nostra grigliata sia pronta. C'eravamo solo noi, non voglio immaginare all'ora di punta. Ci sediamo a un tavolo molto molto sporco, e siamo costretti a pulirlo noi in quanto era indecente mangiare li sopra. Poco dopo, dato che il tavolo era totalmente inclinato ( i bicchieri si rovesciavano) siamo stati costretti a cambiarlo. Anche il secondo tavolo era sporco e abbiamo dovuto pulirlo. Finalmente arriva la grigliata e ci accorgiamo che c'era un solo hamburger, invece che due come scritto, e una salsiccia, invece che due. Inoltre "l'insalata di contorno" consisteva in mezzo pomodoro e due fettine di cetriolo. Il pane era in buona parte bruciato, quindi immangiabile. Andiamo a chiedere il motivo per cui mancasse della carne e la signora, nonostante il marito stava per iniziare a prepararci cosa ci spettava, inizia a lamentarsi dicendo che l'hamburger è molto grande e va bene cosi e finisce per farci due euro di sconto, giusto per liquidarci in fretta in modo poco educato. La carne non era male ma il servizio e l'ambiente non meritano assolutamente un 4,8. Non vi fidate di recensioni cosí alte. Unico aspetto positivo il mare e la brezza, che però di certo non sono merito dei ristoratori.

Secondo il "menù" avrebbe dovuto contenere 2 hamburger ma ce n'era solo uno e 2 salsicce ma ce n'era solo una e nessuna salsa, come invece previsto. Il tutto accompagnato da pane bruciato, 4 patatine fritte congelate e 2 pezzi di pomodoro e cetriolo (l'insalata) servito in un vassoietto antiigienico (vedi foto) per la modica cifra 27 euro. Quando ho fatto notare alla signora che non c'era quanto promesso, ha iniziato a urlarmi contro, dicendo che l'hamburger era di 440 grammi quando al massimo sarà stato di 200 (compro e cucino gli hamburger, capisco quanto pesano) e mi ha reso indietro 2 euro, giusto per liquidarmi. Purtroppo mio figlio aveva molta fame e ha mangiato la carne. In conclusione, lo sconsiglio vivamente, ci sono tanti posti molto più belli e gestiti in maniera più corretta.
