Our summer vacation was above great thanks to this taverna. We had accomodation next to it. After full day exploring and enjoying sea, we'd come here pretty exhausted and hungry. They served us perfectly every time and we've been eating here around eight times. The food is really delicious. You literally can taste true Greek cuisine and the staff is here to reccomend what goes with what. Member of the staff, Fotis, (if you are reading this, sorry if I mispronounced your name!!) really made us feel welcomed and greeted us as long known friends. I knew him only for a week and I'll miss him. He and the owners even gifted us with traditional sweets and we got a bill discount on our last dinner there. Back to food. Everything is served fresh and warm. Greek salad is the best one I had in my life. You'll be amazed when the juices start to pour in. Baked meat (all kinds) is very soft; potatos and the rest of the vegetables without mistake, again true flavors. Tzatziki is a must with every meal. All in all 10/10. We will surely visit Lefkada again, and I can't wait to return to...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at a Greek restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful culinary experience. The meal was a true symphony of flavors, and every dish was a masterpiece.
To start, the tzatziki was refreshingly creamy, the garlic bread had the perfect amount of garlic punch, and the saganaki was a sizzling delight that awakened the taste buds. The Greek salad was a vibrant medley of fresh ingredients, and the feta in the oven was a heavenly, gooey indulgence.
Moving on to the main course, the moussaka was a savory and comforting delight, while the lamb chops and pork souvlaki were perfectly grilled to tender perfection. Each bite was a celebration of Greek cuisine.
I must also commend Chef Vangelis for his culinary artistry and expertise. The impeccable service provided by him added to the overall wonderful experience. This meal was a true gastronomic adventure, and I can’t wait to return for another...
Read moreWe came across this taverna purely by chance having done a walk through the spidery woods on the other side of the village towards the island's west coast.
So, we were hot, hungry and very thirsty but had clocked the pretty-looking taverna when we had parked up over the road.
This place is absolutely lovely. The food was excellent, truly authentic and delicious. I had my, (at least once in every Greek holiday) moussaka and then shared a piece of baclava. Both absolutely splendid and the latter was very much enough for two.
Friendly relaxed service, popular with locals and passing tourists alike and it was very, very reasonably priced.
If I had the option of six stars this is one of the very few places that would get it!
