What a wonderful place to have dinner! The view is beautiful, the food is so delicious and the service is great. What we had: the aloni mushrooms and dakos salad for starters, both very delicious; the avocado cream in the salad was so good, and so was the feta cheese which is made by them; the wild rabbit with mashed potatoes and the rooster with spaghetti as the mains; these were 2 very special dishes; the wild rabbit really was wild, hunted in the forest and you could taste it; they mentioned they have wild hunted boar on occasions (instead of the rabbit) but we weren't that lucky when we dined here; I was impressed with how tasty the rooster was as well; the galaktoboureko and chocolate pie as deserts; I really don't know how to describe the galaktoboureko, just that it was incredibly good... it had such a balanced taste, not too sweet just a light taste you can savour; the chocolate pie was also very delicious but it did get a bit heavy towards the end... I'm not used to eating so much chocolate at once. Both deserts each had a scoop of ice cream and I really recommend the pistachio one, it's really good; I also had a fresh orange juice, which didn't have ice cubes (that's good) but it was warm because it wasn't made with cold oranges (that wasn't so good). If you consider all of the above portions were large, very delicious and cost 71€, topping that with an incredible view... I find this restaurant to be a real bargain and a hidden gem! Eat here and you will not be disappointed! There's free parking in front of the restaurant. P.S. Apologies, I completely forgot to take pictures...

I just got back from this place called T'Aloni on the Greek island of Leukada, and let me tell you, it was a real trip.||The man running the place, Theo, he's a character. We were just looking for a place to crash for the night, but Theo's cooking was so damn good, we ended up staying longer. The man can work some magic in the kitchen. And he speaks great English! ||But the real kicker, the thing that'll make you never want to leave, is the view from the rooms and the restaurant. Just look at this picture I took. ||It's like someone went crazy with a bucket of green paint and just flung it all over the hills and trees. And those mountains in the background, they're just sitting there looking all hazy and mysterious, like they're hiding some ancient Greek secrets. The sea in the distance promises a great adventure. It's the kind of place you can just kick back, crack open a cold one and take in all that natural beauty. Or you can sit there and contemplate the meaning of life, either way works.||So if you ever find yourself on this little island of Leukada, do yourself a favor and look up T'Aloni. Theo will take good care of you, and that view alone is worth the trip. ||Just don't be surprised if you end up staying a lot longer than you...

I have no words to describe this place. But before I start, I would like to recommend to everyone who left anything but 5 stars to this place, to go check their taste buds. Now, let's cut to the chase. We decided to try various plates in order to taste the local cuisine. We had a cheese pie , lentil soup (egklouvis), zucchini croquette, "Hortata" salad, tagliatelle con pollo e Portobello mushroom, two glasses of Samos Wine and for dessert, orange pie. Everything was exquisite, I really cannot point it out enough. The highlight was Lentil soup. It was a piece of art! I am not a fan of lentil soup, but this one...just wow. Regarding the view we arrived just before sunset so the timing couldn't be better. Stunning! Prices are fair if you take into consideration all the above. To sum it up: Food and drinks are top notch, the chef is a genius, the view is magical and the prices were fair. Keep up the good work. We will definitely return!!
