Update 1: First time, we arrived around lunch, and the food was great.
Update 2: On a second time, we arrived on the 23rd August, as it was a festival with good music in the evening.
We ordered stuffed pork and chicken souvlaki. The stuffed pork was great, but the chicken souvlaki was without any flavor.
I have discussed with the waiter about the chicken souvlaki(a young man) and it was due to the festival as they had a lot of orders, which make sense.
Update 3: we stay in the area, and it is quite convenient to order food from them, today (24 August), we ordered to go (takeaway) chicken souvlaki and pork souvlaki.
The chicken was raw, we needed to cook the meat at our place by ourselves, so that my girlfriend can eat it.
Pork souvlaki was done properly, and another issue was that we received few potatoes, and no salad at all.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was not crowded in this evening, and the excuse that they are busy does not apply this time.
Service and atmosphere is 5 stars. Food is either tasty or bad depending when you arrive.

Everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and full of authentic flavors. The atmosphere is traditional and very welcoming, especially in the village piazzetta where the taverna is located. Every evening they also prepare a few special dishes that are served very quickly – we tried them all, and each was excellent: perfectly cooked, juicy lamb, a delicious moussaka, and frigadeli, a dish with tender liver and fantastic aromas. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcome every time.
The only small downside is that they don’t serve fish or seafood, but with the quality of everything else on the menu, it’s easy to overlook. Highly...

We eated at Verani the last day before our departure and to be honest we where told so good words about, and indeed was really a good place to eat, with really good food and the price was normal not cheap but not expensive, great portions and you eat in a small village with fresh vegetables and meat.
Also I drinked coffee every morning there (even though I am not an expert in coffee beans) the quiality was quite good.
In a few meters as you ascend the road there is a small bakery and the smell of bread in the morning was something...
