Everything we tried was unforgettable: slow-cooked wild rabbit with lemon in a wood-fired oven (yes, you read that right!), freshly grilled red mullet in a rich tomato sauce, chicken stew with finely chopped onion and beer, and a proper garlicky tzatziki that kicks in beautifully.
