Been to this place again a few years back feels like nothing had changed. Probably the best meet you can have on this island made with love and caring. Even on the busiest day like Easter the service and the quality of the food was excellent. We ordered a bunch of food including some burgers, some ribs and the best of the best the "kontosouvli" that's how we call it. You should definitely come here in the summer too. You can sit outside in this amazing village Square in the night and enjoy food. The have many fairs here with music and the guys from The taverna take the barbeque outside and grill all the meat right next to the square. Then they have live music and everyone dances until the late night hours. They play all types of music even sone traditional which you can enjoy watching or even participate if you like. Local wine and of course freezing cold beer is served. This place is the center of this village. Definitely will go back and back again to this place. We even shot a part of a documentary here a few years back. Hopefully more and more people will cone back to this place on this amazing island of limnos. For instance the fried potatoes added to many of the dishes have been fried long time ago. So they are served cold, and some of them are not properly cooked.
