SARAVAR BEACH BAR — Restaurant in Lemnos Municipality

Quiet beach with restaurant down a dirt road. Follow the signs toward Plaka, but pay attention for the little signs for Saravari beach bar and apartments. Really easy to miss. If you get to Plaka, you've gone too far. 5 minutes down a dirt/gravel and you've made it. Plenty of umbrellas and a little surfing hut for wind or kite surfing. The beach bar has a restaurant style menu for bigger meals beside club sandwich. Super fresh and delicious salad with souvlaki and drinks.

The water is a little deeper but still kid friendly. The beach was a little dirtier (seaweed) then some others but not enough to ruin it. The beach is in a cove with an abandoned resort on a hill to the right and a little mountain on the left. Bring your shoes or flip flops to go on a walk. Plenty of fun and sun. A spot that we have been to countless times over the years of going to Lemnos and never disappoints. Traditional Greek cuisine, bold flavours and comforting high quality food. Both the meat and meatless options are equally amazing, which isn’t something we see everyday. In my opinion they make the best eggplant I have had quite frankly ever and that is a thing I always order. The servers are friendly and frankly for the massive workload that they have to deal with do an amazing job. This place was good, some time ago. Not anymore. You get (some of) the starters ordered, but - forks and knives are not there. Until one asks for them specifically. Sea food (fish, mussels) was very fat from fresh. What has been served dies not correspond to the menu (different ingredients). Hopefully me and my wife do not get some stomach problems. Some stuff we ordered never came. Considering the bill we paid - the food is expensive, and we likely got charged for things not served.
