I regret to say that it was rather disappointing experience for me.
I’ll start with the positive which is the view! The tavern is located in a secluded beautiful gulf with stunning views for the duration of your meal.
I felt that there was no organisation and the staff were all over the place and you could see the chaotic vibe between the employees. We asked twice to order and to pay at the end. One of the plates we ordered became unavailable and nobody told us. We were waiting for the plate and only when we asked for it (in case it was forgotten) they said that this food has finished! The service was quite speedy though I must admit.
The food was average, nothing to die for and I found it pricey for the quality I was offered. There are limited to none vegan options (unless you count fries).
The toilets were dreadful and the paper was flooding from the bins all over the floor.
Overall I believe that this place has a lot of potential but definitely needs huge improvement in management and customer service...
Read moreWe met two people on the boat to Lemnos who visit the island for almost 10 years and recommended this taverna beyond others. We ate to other tavernas at different places on the island and staff recommended this taverna. Now that I have already been, I can confirm their recommendation. The view is amazing, the taverna is run by the family and 2-3 more employees. We met the cook-owner and appreciated her a lot, she is a straightforward and honest person either she talks about cooking or about anything else. The staff was very friendly too. Although I am a vegetarian I liked the fact that I ate well in this taverna. I loved the french fries as well as the zucchini balls and the cheese. It is definitely a place that I would...
Read moreDrove to the other end of the Island on a horrible road, very excited to eat here as we were really looking forward to good traditional limnian food. We booked the day before and had the best table in the house right on the corner with amazing views. We were very disappointed with the food, there were no aftoudia on the menu at all and when we asked we were told she didn’t have time to make them!!! The flomari was very average (tasteless actually, I make better ant home) and as for the rest of our meals we have had better at other village local taverns. With all the hype about this place we expected a lot more. I’m sorry Malama but when you get such a good reputation you need...
