The food was super delicious, we took pork souvlaki - moist and juicy meat, the perfect taste and texture, served with tzatziki and roasted peppers. They also added to our order some fried potatoes and some cheese cream, from the house.

The hosts and the service were lovely. All the family is working there, and they were all very happy about the customers. They were always smiling and had a very warm approach.

When we were about to leave they have taken the bread out of the oven, and they offered some warm slices of fresh bread. And they also given us some feta, extremely delicious, the best feta we have eaten in Greece.

We felt very good, we enjoyed the food, the views and the cosy family atmosphere.

We cannot wait to come back, I have no words for such a good and lovely surprise.

An all handmade meal.Here you will feel what Greece is really about. In a small village you'll find this beautiful traditional tavern. The people are very helpful and they will welcome you with warmth and smile . We went for dinner and we were sat next to the warm fireplace. Very nice atmosphere. The pitmaster was on point with great sear, crust and juiciness on the inside. The tzatziki from Ms Voula was awesome and as a Greek I really can say. What a delightful and unexpected found! We decided to venture out during our stay in Meteora and boy was this worth the 20 minute drive. This beautiful local tavern is a family run phenomenon and they welcomed us with open arms. The son runs the front of house with mum cooking out the back. They food was OMG, local Greek salad, traditional fried eggplant, meat cooked on charcoal and hand cut potatoes. This was one of our best meals during our 2 weeks in Greece and I highly recommend Taverna Arados for high quality home...
